Webster OSVA-50 Oil Safety Valve – 1/2″ FPT Automatic Fuel Shutoff

The Webster OSVA-50 oil safety valve is designed to automatically shut off the oil supply in heating oil systems if a fuel line break occurs between the oil tank and burner.

This safety valve is ideal for oil supply systems operating with 0–60 PSI pressure on the inlet side, helping meet many state and local safety codes requiring automatic oil shutoff devices.

The valve requires a sustained vacuum on the outlet side from the burner in order to allow fuel flow. If the burner line breaks or vacuum is lost, the valve automatically closes to prevent oil leakage into the building.

In addition to safety protection, the valve reduces pressure strain on the fuel pump inlet, helping extend pump life and improve system reliability.
