REGO’s current literature specifies the T9453 with 3/8″ FNPT connections, 0.406″ orifice, 2½” length, 2¾” approximate height and Cv 1.76. Some older distributor literature shows a lower Cv figure, so the current manufacturer specification is preferable.
The T9453 is designed for controlling compatible cryogenic liquids and gases. Typical installations include cryogenic cylinders, MicroBulk systems, bulk storage tanks, trailers, manifolds and tapping points. REGO lists compatible media/applications including nitrogen, oxygen, argon, helium, CO₂, air, natural gas and LNG, subject to system compatibility and applicable codes.

The REGO T9453 is a compact, industrial-grade short-stem cryogenic globe/shut-off valve designed for dependable control of cryogenic liquids and gases.
This valve features 3/8″ female NPT inlet and outlet connections, a rugged brass body and bonnet, PCTFE seat disc, PTFE stem-seal gasket, stainless-steel spring and manually operated aluminum handwheel.
Rated for a maximum working pressure of 600 PSIG (42 bar), the T9453 is engineered to operate across an exceptionally broad temperature range extending down to approximately -320°F (-196°C), making it well suited for demanding cryogenic installations.
