GENERANT CV-500B-T-3-X 1/2″ Brass Check Valve – PTFE Seals – 3 PSIG – O2 Cleaned

The Generant CV-500B-T-3-X is a high-flow check valve designed to prevent reverse flow in compatible industrial gas and fluid systems. This configuration features a durable brass body, 1/2″ FNPT female inlet and outlet ports, PTFE seals, and a 3 PSIG nominal cracking pressure.

Generant’s CV Series uses a fully guided poppet with a free-floating sealing design. Metal-to-metal positive stops in both the open and checked positions help protect the internal seal and spring from overstress and fatigue. The design provides high flow with low pressure drop and is tolerant of particulate contamination.

For the 1/2″ size, Generant publishes a Cv of 7.4, approximately 150 SCFM flow at 5 PSI differential, 2.93″ overall length, and 1-1/2″ hex size.

The PTFE seal option is rated from approximately -320°F to +350°F (-195°C to +176°C). Generant notes that PTFE seals may require back pressure to achieve leak-tight sealing.
