The Generant CV-250B-T-8-X is a high-performance check valve designed to prevent reverse flow in compatible industrial gas and fluid systems. This configuration features a durable brass body, 1/4″ female NPT ports, PTFE seals, and an 8 PSIG nominal cracking pressure.

Generant’s CV Series uses a fully guided poppet with a free-floating sealing design to provide high flow with low pressure drop. Metal-to-metal positive stops in both the open and checked positions help protect the internal seal and spring from overstress and fatigue.

The 1/4″ version has a published Cv of 3.0, approximately 2.25-inch overall length, and a 1-inch hex. For brass CV valves from 1/8″ through 1″, Generant’s current literature specifies maximum operating pressure up to 3,000 PSIG at applicable temperatures.

The PTFE seal option provides excellent low-temperature capability; Generant’s ordering literature specifies approximately -320°F to +350°F (-195°C to +176°C) for PTFE. Generant notes that PTFE seals may require back pressure to achieve leak-tight sealing.

This particular -X configuration is O2 cleaned, making it appropriate for compatible oxygen-service installations when properly handled and installed.
