Generant’s current CV-series specifications confirm that the line is a high-flow, low-pressure-drop check-valve design available from 1/8″ through 2″ NPT, with nominal cracking pressures including 0.15 PSIG. The manufacturer also specifies brass as an available body material and oxygen cleaning as an option.

For the standard CV series, Generant specifies a fully guided poppet with a free-floating O-ring design, metal-to-metal positive stops, and a static O-ring seal with PTFE backup ring.

Heavy-duty Generant CV Series check valve designed to prevent reverse flow in compatible industrial fluid and gas systems.

This configuration features a brass body, 1/8″ female NPT inlet and outlet connections, 60-durometer Viton seals, and an ultra-low 0.15 PSIG nominal cracking pressure. Generant specifies the standard 0.15-PSIG option with an approximate cracking range of 0.1–0.4 PSIG (0.01 bar).

The CV Series uses a fully guided poppet with a free-floating O-ring design, providing high flow with low pressure drop while offering good tolerance to particulate contamination. Metal-to-metal positive stops in both the open and checked positions help protect the O-ring and spring against overstress.

Generant states that CV Series valves are 100% factory tested for leakage in the backflow direction. Oxygen-service versions are specially cleaned and supplied for use with oxygen or oxidizer-gas applications when properly specified and handled.
