John M. Ellsworth 5″ Fuel Oil Tank Emergency Vent – Slimline UL Listed

The Ellsworth 5-inch Emergency Vent (MFG# MO244OM0800AV) is a UL-listed safety device designed for aboveground fuel oil storage tanks. This emergency pressure relief vent helps prevent tanks from becoming over-pressurized, reducing the risk of rupture during fire exposure or abnormal pressure conditions.

The vent operates automatically using a weighted cover mechanism. When internal tank pressure reaches the set opening pressure, the cover lifts to release pressure and allow air to escape. Once pressure returns to normal levels, the cover automatically reseats and resets.

Constructed with a durable aluminum body and powder-coated cast iron cover, this slimline emergency vent also features a Viton O-ring seal for reliable sealing and long service life in fuel oil applications.
