REGIONS SUPPLY BUYING GUIDE

Product details & buying advice

Choose a transfer pump by its intended operating duty, then confirm how the pump, drive and bypass arrangement will work together.

Product type LP gas transfer pumps
Part / SKU TLGLF3C

What to check before ordering

  • Use the exact model’s performance curve to compare required flow, liquid service and differential pressure.
  • Check the suction conditions, motor or drive selection and external bypass requirements.
  • Use that model’s operation and maintenance manual for installation alignment, startup and service.

Service reminder: Review the bypass instructions even if the pump has an internal relief function. The internal function does not automatically take the place of the required external bypass.

Have gas-system installation and service completed by qualified personnel. Use the current instructions for the exact model and the requirements that apply at the installation location.

Complete Description

The Blackmer TLGLF3C is a heavy-duty 3-inch flange-mounted sliding-vane truck pump engineered for mobile liquefied-gas transfer applications. It is particularly suited to propane bobtail and transport-truck installations where dependable flow, compact direct mounting, and reliable operation are important.

Unlike a conventional base-mounted transfer pump, the TLGLF3C is designed to mount directly to a commercial internal control valve and cargo tank. This arrangement can eliminate restrictive inlet piping and associated fittings between the tank and pump, helping reduce inlet losses and vaporization. Blackmer’s installation documentation specifically identifies direct mounting to bobtail or transport tanks as the intended configuration.

The pump incorporates Blackmer’s sliding-vane pumping principle and a double-ended drive shaft, allowing the unit to accommodate clockwise or counterclockwise PTO arrangements through installation orientation. An auxiliary intake connection also permits applications such as emergency unloading of another tank or transport.

Key Features

  • Heavy-duty Blackmer TLGLF3C commercial truck pump
  • 3″ ANSI flange-mounted inlet
