Blackmer’s current CRL specifications confirm that the CRL3 platform is a 3-inch ductile-iron sliding-vane pump for liquefied CO2, with 20–150 GPM nominal capacity, 330–640 RPM speed range, 100 PSI maximum differential pressure and 525 PSI maximum working pressure. Blackmer offers 3″ weld flanges as a connection option.

The CRL3 design also uses a double-ended drive shaft, allowing flexible positioning for the drive arrangement.

Heavy-duty Blackmer CRL3-OE1-WF-PO positive displacement sliding vane pump designed for liquefied CO2 transfer and recirculation applications.

The CRL3 platform features rugged ductile-iron construction and a double-ended keyed drive shaft, allowing the pump to be coupled with compatible drive arrangements such as an HRA-series gear reducer or V-belt system. Blackmer’s CRL3 pumps are designed for demanding bulk-transfer, recirculation, process and transport loading/unloading applications.

This configuration is equipped with 3-inch weld-flanged inlet and outlet connections, an integral pressure relief valve, external ball bearings and a mechanical seal assembly. Blackmer documentation for the CRL3-OE1 identifies the seal configuration as using a steel stationary seat, carbon seal face, and special-EPDM stationary and rotating O-rings.

The CRL3 has a nominal operating capacity of approximately 20–150 GPM (76–568 L/min), operates from 330–640 RPM, and is rated for up to 100 PSI differential pressure and 525 PSI maximum working pressure.
