Heavy-duty Baldor-Reliance CXL21542 explosion-proof AC motor engineered for demanding industrial applications and hazardous locations where flammable gases, vapors, or combustible dust may be present.

The CXL21542 provides 5 HP output from a 230V single-phase, 60 Hz power supply. Rated operating speed is 1740 RPM, with an 1800-RPM synchronous speed. It features a NEMA 215C frame, C-face mounting with rigid base, and Baldor’s XPFC explosion-proof construction.

The motor is rated for Class I, Group D and Class II, Groups F & G, Division 1 hazardous locations and carries UL and CSA approvals. It features a heavy-duty steel frame, keyed 1.125″ output shaft, explosion-proof conduit box, continuous-duty rating, Class F insulation, and reversible shaft rotation.
