Generant’s factory literature confirms that model coding 1500 = 1-1/2″ NPT, B = brass, T = PTFE seal, and .15 = nominal 0.15 PSIG cracking pressure. The 1-1/2″ size is offered specifically in brass construction. Generant gives the 1-1/2″ CV valve an overall length of 5.35 inches.

The PTFE seal configuration has a published temperature range of -320°F to +350°F (-195°C to +176°C). Generant also notes that PTFE seals may require some back pressure to achieve leak-tight sealing.

Generant CV-1500B-T-0.15-X 1-1/2″ Brass Check Valve – PTFE – O2 Cleaned

Heavy-duty Generant Series CV high-flow check valve designed for demanding industrial gas, fluid and cryogenic applications.

This configuration features a brass body, 1-1/2″ female NPT inlet and outlet connections, PTFE sealing and an ultra-low 0.15 PSIG nominal cracking pressure. The valve is supplied in an oxygen-cleaned configuration.

The Series CV uses a fully guided poppet design and metal-to-metal positive stops to protect the seal and spring against excessive stress. A static seal with PTFE backup ring is used to minimize external leakage.
