The BelGAS P289-1 is a high-flow relief / back-pressure valve designed to provide over-pressure protection in commercial and industrial gas systems. This valve is commonly installed downstream of BelGAS regulators, including the PG627, to protect piping and equipment from excessive pressure.

Featuring a 1″ NPT body and a 10–20 PSI spring range, the P289-1 responds quickly to rising system pressure. Its large diaphragm area and pilot tube booster design allow the valve to relieve pressure smoothly and efficiently, especially in low-pressure applications.
