The REGO CV9408SW is a premium stainless-steel spring-loaded piston lift check valve engineered for demanding liquid cryogenic applications. It is designed for use in piping systems associated with bulk storage tanks, trailers, ISO tanks and other cryogenic equipment.
The valve features a rugged 316 stainless-steel body, 304 stainless-steel bonnet and 316Ti stainless-steel spring. Its Dyneon TFM 1600 soft-seat disc and conical seat design provide high flow capacity and bubble-tight sealing performance under cryogenic conditions.
This model has 1″ socket-weld inlet and outlet connections, a 1.5 PSIG opening/cracking pressure, and a Cv rating of 14.0. It carries a 720 PSIG (50 barg) cold, non-shock pressure rating, Class 300 / PN50.
Operating temperature is rated from -320°F to +185°F (-196°C to +85°C). Compatible cryogenic service media identified by the manufacturer include oxygen, nitrogen, argon, CO₂, methane, ethane, ethylene and LNG, among others.
The valve is 100% factory tested and cleaned and packaged for oxygen service per CGA G-4.1. REGO also individually bags and boxes these valves to maintain factory-new condition until installation.
