Honeywell Smart Management Module (SMM) – 240V Load Control for Backup GeneratorsThe Honeywell Smart Management Module (SMM) is engineered to intelligently optimize the performance of home backup generators. Unlike basic load management systems, SMM modules are self-aware, fully autonomous, and capable of dynamically prioritizing and shedding loads to prevent generator overload.

Up to eight (8) SMM units can be installed in a single system, allowing complete customization of your backup power distribution. Each module continuously monitors generator frequency (Hz) and automatically sheds lower-priority loads when capacity drops below a safe threshold—ensuring essential circuits stay powered.

The SMM is fully enclosed in a NEMA-3R rated metal housing, ideal for both indoor and outdoor installations, and includes LED diagnostics for quick status checks.
